Facebook Privacy Policy Update From 1st January 2015

Facebook already Updates their Privacy Policy and it will be active from 1st January, 2015. Why Facebook updated their privacy policy? Yes, The main reason is to helping Facebook users to know How Facebook done their activity and how they control users information.

After ending of this year, Facebook introduced new features and controls to help users get more out of Facebook, and listened to people who have asked them for  better explain how they get and use  user information.

Now, with their Privacy Basics, you’ll get tips and a how-to guide for taking charge of your experience on Facebook. They are also updating their terms, data policy and cookies policy to reflect new features They’ve been working on and to make them easy to understand.

And They’re introducing improvements to ads based on the apps and websites that we use off Facebook and giving us control.

These updates will take effect from January 1, 2015. As always, they welcome us feedback about their policies.

Change On Privacy Basics

Privacy Basics will offers with interactive guides to answer the most commonly asked questions about how we can control our information on Facebook. For example, we can learn about tagging, un tagging, add friend, unfriending option, blocking and how to choose an audience for each our posts.

This information are available in 36 languages. Also we knew that few months ago Facebook already run hashtag like as Twitter and Google plus.

Along with their privacy checkup, reminder for people posting publicly and simplified audience selectors, Privacy Basics is the latest step they’ve been taken to help us to make sure what we’re sharing with the people we want.

2. Buy Button For Purchases Product: In some regions, they’re testing a Buy button that helps user to discover and purchase products without leaving Facebook. They’re also working on new ways to make transactions even more convenient.

3. Find information about privacy on Facebook When We Need It: To make them more accessible, they moved tips and suggestions to Privacy Basics. their data policy is shorter and clearer, making it easier to read.

4. To Understand How They use the Information, They Receive From Us: One example, understanding battery and signal capability helps to make sure their apps work well on our device.

They will ask for permission to use our mobile phone’s location when they will offer optional features like checking or adding our location to posts.

5. To Know How Facebook And Apps Work Together: Over the past few years, Facebook has grown and they want to make sure from us to know about their family of companies, apps and services.

They use the information, they collect to improve their experience. Such as if we’re locked out of our Instagram or WhatsApp account, we can use our Facebook information to recover our password.

Nothing in their updates changes the commitments that Instagram, WhatsApp and other companies have made to protect our information and our privacy.

Many Users sometimes ask Facebook team how their information is shared with advertisers. Nothing is changing with these updates, they help advertisers to reach people with relevant ads without telling them whose they are.
