If Google index your site properly, People can easily find your site through Google. But the main thing is Google don’t index your site quickly if you don’t submit sitemap. Else, you have to wait until Google bot to crawl your site manually.

What is Google Webmaster and How it’s work?

Google webmaster is a free service from Google To crawl and index any site into Google search engine. Google webmaster tools gives this opportunity to do it.

Google Webmaster tools also offers some tools for webmasters to troubleshoot the crawling and indexing of their website, Sitemap creation, URL submission tools, website statistics, consolidation of content submission and make big community.

What Is Sitemap?

A Sitemap is a list  of URL’s of a blog or website, To help search engines for crawling and indexing your site. It’s the opportunity to tell search engines that recently you’ve updated your blog. To discover all pages of your site, sitemap will help search engine bots by giving the update of your blog.

How to Submit Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools?

1. Before submit sitemap you have to create XML sitemap for your site. You can create sitemap easily by Google XML sitemaps plugin if you are a WordPress user.

2. After creating sitemap, Now time to submit it. Sign in to your Google Webmaster Tools with your existing Google account. Click ‘Add a site’ then paste your site link.

3. Now, simply verify your domain ownership. Google webmaster tools offer several method to verify your site Such as HTML file upload, HTML Tag, Google analytic and domain name provider.

So there are various option to verify your site ownership. I think, “Adding a meta tag to your site home page” is  easy and best method to do it.

So, i recommend you this method. To do this, Copy the HTML tag and paste into your site’s Homepage. For WordPress holder paste this code to your head section in theme editor panel.

After adding meta tag on your site, click on verify button. That’s it your site is successfully verified, you will get a verification message.

4. Now, it’s time to submit your sitemap into Google webmaster tools. Left side Click on ‘Sitemaps’ under ‘Optimization’ then click on “Add/Test sitemap” from top right corner. A box will be appear to submit your sitemap link.

Now the time to Submit your sitemap URL, If you use the “Google XML Sitemaps” plugin, it’s contain sitemap.xml link, paste it on the box then Click “Submit Sitemap” button. That’s it! you done this job.

When you’ve submitted sitemap, Your site will be indexed soon.
